About

PEEL Magazine began in 2003 as a 1/2 size black-and-white zine documenting street art with a focus on stickers.
Stickers have long been part of the street-art scene, but PEEL is the first magazine dedicated to this aspect of graffiti. Inspired by the “Andre the Giant has a Posse” stickers they saw all over New York City when they traveled there from Indianapolis, Indiana, to help with the Sept. 11 recovery, Dave and Holly Combs have never been able to look at stickers the same. With every issue of PEEL, the couple feature street art, and the community around it. Having evolved from a hand-made zine stuffed into plastic bags to a glossy, internationally distributed magazine, the book PEEL: The Art of the Sticker
documents the development of PEEL and sticker culture, as both are intimately linked.

eep! - Theory Propaganda
Well, eep enjoys nothing more than long walks on pristine white sand beaches along crystal clear waters while philosophizing his own existence; skipping stones to the beat of life. He engages in many of the finer things in life, which include but are not limited to, watching the sunset from a picturesque grassy knoll, indulging in fine wine with scrumptious foie gras, attending exquisite opera houses while rubbing shoulders with nouveau riche alike, candlelight conversations on French film, modern philosophy and the Fine Arts. Creating adhesive art is a passion for eep and continues to strive to have the gospel of The Theory Propaganda Campaign to span across god’s green Earth.
Thankfully, eep, Anthead and many other devoted disciples have written the sacred scripture we now call Embalm! The profound wisdom of this writ has totaled 17 followers and counting! Only your generous gifts of compassion can keep this flame a blaze and continue to light the trail toward glory. Thank you for your support!
